Highland Lakes Christmas concerts, musicals, and more bring the magic of the season to the stage. Mark your calendars for the following performances.
“The Story of the Nutcracker”
7:30 p.m. Dec. 5-6 and 3 p.m. Dec. 6-7
Burnet High School Performing Arts Center, 1000 The Green Mile
Now in its 19th production, “The Story of The Nutcracker” is a cherished holiday tradition presented by Studio 29 Dance Centre and hosted by the Burnet High School Highlandettes drill team. The show features talented dancers of all ages, including the youngest-ever Clara at just 8 years old. Tickets are $15 for ages 13 and older and $10 for children 12 and younger and can be purchased via the BHS athletic website, where football game tickets are sold.

Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores
Join the Hill Country Community Theatre for a heartwarming musical set in 1968 at the Harper’s Hardware holiday party. When Santa goes missing, four singing co-workers step up to save the day with spirited harmonies and holiday cheer. Tickets for the general public go on sale Nov. 24 at thehcct.org.

The Marble Falls High School choir hosts a medieval-themed dinner and captivating show. Tickets are $30 a person.

Carols and Candlelight
