The 2023 Marble Falls ice skating rink is open Nov. 22 through Jan. 1 at Lakeside Park, 305 Buena Vista Drive, right next to Walkway of Lights. Friends and families can take in the beauty of the annual lights display reflecting off of the waters of Lake Marble Falls before or after a spin on the ice.
The rink is open from 5-10 p.m. every day but Thanksgiving and Christmas. It closes at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Presale tickets are $10; day-of tickets are $12. Admission includes skates and one hour on the ice. Tickets may be purchased online at MarblefallsRecreation.com. Day-of tickets are available at the rink ticket booth from 5-10 p.m.
Skate sizes range from a child’s 5 to a men’s 12. You can bring your own skates.
Snow falls on schedule every Monday and Friday, turning the rink into a winter wonderland not often seen in Central Texas.
Guests are encouraged to monitor the Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department’s social media pages for possible closures caused by weather. You can also call 830-798-6250 for closure information.
Groups can book the rink for private parties for 50 or fewer people on Saturdays and Sundays. Parties must be booked one week in advance and cost $250 for residents and $350 for non-residents for one hour of skate time. Call 830-798-6250 for reservations.
