Chocolates, margaritas, jewelry, wine, and more all in just a few blocks

Downtown Marble Falls has it all. Spend a day soaking in the shops as you stroll along Historic Main Street, which is lined with boutiques, gift shops, restaurants, sweets shops, wine tasting rooms, and more.
Start your morning with a cup of joe from The Ragtime Oriole on the southwest corner of Main and Second streets. More than a coffee shop, The Ragtime Oriole hosts live jazz and ragtime performances throughout the week. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Enjoy the vibes, the tunes, and this historic atmosphere in a granite building that served as a bank and then City Hall in the 20th century.
For more Main Street coffee bars and sweets shop recommendations — iced cookies, fudge, ice cream, homemade toffee — see list below.
After your caffeine fix, visit some of the local boutiques and clothing stores to add to your closet.
Some local favorites are Lula’s on Main, 305 Main St., and Smartie Pantz, 201 Main St. Both shops offer a variety of summertime essentials such as sundresses, hats, and swimsuits and are open seven days a week. Visit their websites for hours of operation.
Stop by La Ti Da and The Rug Queen, 210 Main St., for a unique assortment of handmade goods such as notebooks and imported, handwoven rugs. Staff can offer background information on every product in the store, which is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday and by appointment on Monday and Tuesday.

For lunch, grab a salad and a sandwich at Darci’s Deli, 909 Third St., before heading to Old Oak Square for an afternoon of wine tasting at Fiesta Winery, 309 Main St. Then, relax at an outdoor picnic table or peruse the works of local artists at the Highland Arts Guild and Gallery, 318 Main St., to wind down your day. The gallery is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
