Where to catch the big game

Don’t let all of the fun you’re having on your Highland Lakes vacation interfere with watching the big game. Fans can catch the action from the Super Bowl, March Madness, or any other major sporting event at a number of bars, restaurants, and breweries across the area.

Below is a list of some of our favorite watering holes where you can keep up with your home team when you’re on the road.

MARBLE FALLS

Downtown Beer Hall

Although the bar doesn’t have TVs, you can watch the biggest games outside in its family-friendly beer garden off of a projector at Harmony Park. Inside, pick from a wide selection of brews on tap, wines, and canned beverages.

Uptown Theatre

Uptown Theatre has perhaps the biggest screen in town. It only hosts live viewings of certain games, so check the website before making plans. The venue has a full-service bar.

Rae’s R-Bar & Grill

With multiple TVs and tons of drink choices, it’s easy to see why sports fans flock here. The R-Bar also serves game day grub, including wings, nachos, and its famous spicy mac and cheese burger.

Brass Hall

Bear King Brewing Co.
