A winter wonderland of twinkling lights transforms Lakeside Park at 305 Buena Vista Drive in Marble Falls during the annual Walkway of Lights festival. Millions of lights illuminate the shoreline of Lake Marble Falls, creating a festive setting perfect for families and friends of all ages.

Admission to the walkway is $2 per person, and the experience is self-paced. Some guests finish in about five minutes, while others linger for photos or take their time. Dogs on leashes are welcome to join the stroll. The Walkway of Lights is open nightly from 6–10 p.m. through January 3.

Before entering, visitors can stop by a concession stand run by a local nonprofit offering hot chocolate, coffee, cookies, and more. Free parking is available in two main lots: at the west end of Buena Vista and at the corner of Yett and Main streets.
Visitors begin their stroll by passing through a brightly-lit tunnel glowing with red, white, and blue bulbs, a spot where the holiday spirit seems to radiate. The cool winter breeze wafting off Lake Marble Falls adds to the magic of the scene. Along the walkway, illuminated sculptures line both sides of the path, including a Longhorn, a globe, a peacock, and several other dazzling displays.

Little ones may especially enjoy visiting Santa, who appears every Friday – Sunday until Christmas. Families seeking extra fun can check out the Bumper Cars on Ice inside the tent at the end of the Walkway– $12 in advance or $15 at the door. The seven-minute ride delivers plenty of laughs, whether you’re bumping into friends or spinning in circles. On December 7, the bumper cars will be replaced with ice skating for the same price, giving guests a chance to glide around the rink with loved ones.

Before or after visiting Lakeside Park, guests can take a quick one-minute drive to downtown Marble Falls. Main Street is decked out with holiday lights, a Christmas tree, boutique shops, restaurants, and plenty more to help visitors soak in the Christmas spirit.
