A rare single-artist museum, Museo Benini shares Benini’s work since the 1950s. The museum include a fine arts research library, archives, and a trail of outdoor sculpture created by international artists.

Belóved Gallery
206 Avenue H, Suite 101, Marble Falls
Open Tuesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The museum is free to visit but requires a reservation. Tours are guided and last 55 minutes.
Belóved Gallery’s mission is to share the world-renowned, privately owned painting, Prince of Peace by Akiane Kramarik with the world. Gallery owners want all to experience the painting and its message of God’s ‘unwavering faith, unconditional love, and eternal life.’

Arthouse Marble Falls
113 Main Street, Marble Falls
Open Friday, and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Arthouse is free to visit.
The gallery hosts rotating exhibits from the expansive private collection belonging to Texas philanthropists and art collectors, Mickey and Jeanne Klein. Arthouse provides visitors an intimate and welcome setting in which to explore art.

History
St. Frederick Church Black History Museum
301 Avenue N, Marble Falls
Open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The museum is free to visit, donations are gladly accepted.
The Black History Museum, located on the grounds of St. Frederick Church, seeks to inspire passion and pride as well as provide a unique educational experience through the authentic artifacts on exhibit. The museum is filled with stories from local African Americans as well as their history, traditions, contributions, resourcefulness, and innovation. The museum hopes to inspire visitors and provide a better understanding of Black Americans to help shape a better future for all.

The Falls on the Colorado Museum
2001 Broadway, Marble Falls
Open Monday – Saturday: June-August 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; September-May 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The museum is free to visit, donations are gladly accepted.
There’s much more to Marble Falls than meets the eye, specifically the namesake falls which lie beneath now Lake Marble Falls. A fount of local history and artifacts as well as traveling exhibits can be found at The Falls on the Colorado Museum. The museum contains exhibits on geology, archeology, early settlers, lakes, rivers, dams, and more on the area before (and after) it became the Highland Lakes.

Fort Croghan Museum and Grounds
703 Buchanan (State Hwy 29), Burnet
Open from the second weekend in April – the second weekend in October: Thursday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The museum is free to visit, donations are gladly accepted.
The Fort Croghan Museum highlights the history of 19th and 20th century Burnet County. Visitors will find exhibits on Fort Croghan, early settlers, ranching, the Civilian Conservation Corps, and more. The grounds of the museum contain eight well-preserved historical structures, two are original to the fort and the others have been relocated to the grounds. Visitors may stroll the grounds and enter the structures. The museum hosts two annual events: Fort Croghan Days, the second Saturday in October and Christmas at Fort Croghan, the second Saturday in December.

Llano County Historical Museum
310 Bessemer Avenue, Llano
Open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission to the museum is $5 for adults, students and seniors $3, children are free.
The Llano County Historical Society has an impressive collection focused on the industries and interests that built the area. Llano history is rich with mining, ranching, farming, and the railroad. The museum contains a rock room dedicated to local geology — be sure to check out the Llanite, rare 1.1 billion year old rock exclusive to Llano County.

Science-Technology-Engineering-Math
Science Mill
101 South Lady Bird Lane, Johnson City
Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Seasonal)
Admission may be purchased online or at the museum.
The Science Mill is a museum for all ages. The Johnson City STEM museum is a great place to explore and have fun while learning. Many exhibits are hands-on and are great at engaging young minds.

Hill Country Motorhead’s Motorcycle Museum
2001 W. State Highway 29, Burnet
Wednesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed major holidays and annually December 15-31
Admission may be purchased onsite.
The motorcycle museum, a privately owned museum, opened its doors in 2018 with 75 bikes and now displays around 150 bikes from a rotating collection of over 300. Exhibits include decades of motorcycle history from the U.S. and around the world.

Llano Railroad Museum & Llano Mining Museum
100 Train Station Drive, Llano
Open Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The museums are free to visit.
The two museums preserve Llano’s rich railroad and mining heritage. Visitors can browse the museums as well as the 1970 caboose, 1954 Pullman commuter car, and original tracks.

Highland Lakes Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force Museum
2402 S. Water Street ( Kate Craddock Field Airport, US 281), Burnet
Wednesday 1-4 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday 1-4 p.m.
Admission to the museum is by donation.
The museum is a working museum dedicated to preserving vintage WWII aircraft. The museum contains a vast collection of memorabilia and vintage gear. Aircraft based at the HLS – CAF include C-47 Texas Zephyr, L-17 Navion, PT-19 Cornell, and T-6 SNJ Texan.
