Highland Lakes communities walk, march, and roll into the holiday season with festive Christmas parades that blend twinkling lights, holiday music, and good cheer. You might even spot Santa in the jolly processions.
Lighted Hooves and Wheels Parade

Main Street in downtown Johnson City
This beloved and bedazzled parade ushers in the city’s Lights Spectacular display. The night’s festivities include fireworks and the fancy footwork of the Clickety Cloggers.
Light Up Parade

Main Street in downtown Marble Falls
Colorful floats and walkers make their way down Main Street to the entrance of Marble Falls’ Walkway of Lights at Lakeside Park, where families can continue the fun by strolling through the dazzling display or gliding across the nearby ice rink.
Marble Falls Christmas Boat Parade and Contest

The Marble Falls/Highland Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce launches its first-ever Marble Falls Christmas Boat Parade and Contest: Lake Lights and Holiday Nights at Lakeside Park. Viewing is free. Entry is $20 to be included in the boat and house decorating contest.

Courthouse Square in downtown Llano
Llano livens up its square with festive floats and fun entertainment for all. Afterward, stroll over to the enchanting Starry, Starry Nights display in Badu Park.

Noon Dec. 13
Courthouse Square in downtown Burnet
Burnet opens its all-day Christmas on the Square festival with a parade filled with holiday cheer and a high-kicking Highlandettes performance. Family-friendly fun continues on the square until 8:30 p.m. A Kids Zone includes train rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a maze—plus a special visit from Santa and a possible Grinch sighting.
