Adventure, mystery, music, and more are in the Season 39 lineup for the Hill Country Community Theatre in Cottonwood Shores. The first production hits the stage in September 2024. 

“We are thrilled to present our 39th season lineup, featuring a diverse range of productions that showcase the incredible talent of our community,” said HCCT Artistic Director Daniel Melton in a media release announcing the 2024-25 shows. “From classic musicals to gripping mysteries, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Hill Country Community Theatre.”

“JEKYLL & HYDE: THE MUSICAL”

Runs: Sept. 27-Oct. 13, 2024

An epic struggle between good and evil. (Editor’s Note: The opening production was originally “Man of La Mancha” but was changed after the season’s announcement.)

“A CHRISTMAS STORY”

Runs: Dec. 6-22, 2024

Based on the beloved film, this heartwarming tale filled with holiday cheer is for all ages.

“MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS”

Runs: Feb. 7-23, 2025

This Agatha Christie whodunit featuring famous detective Hercule Poirot unravels aboard a luxurious train and will keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

“STEEL MAGNOLIAS”

Runs: March 28-April 13, 2025

This touching and humorous exploration of friendship and resilience set in small-town Louisiana celebrates the strength of women in the face of life’s challenges.

“OKLAHOMA!”

Runs: June 13-29, 2025

The iconic musical features unforgettable songs and a captivating love story set in the American West.

“FOREVER PLAID”

Runs: Aug. 15-24, 2025

Travel back in time with this charming and harmonious musical revue.

The HCCT’s Season 38 continues this summer with “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” running June 21-July 7 and “Greater Tuna” from Aug. 16-25.
