It’s easy to be creative when shopping for stocking stuffers in the Highland Lakes — just stop by one of the local feed or hardware stores.
First, browse the gadgets — flashlights, back scratchers, telescoping magnets, tiny tools, keychains, and more are great gifts for adults and kids. Some stores have toys such as figurines, trucks and tractors, squishy balls, large flashing dice, stuffed animals, and brain teaser puzzles.

You’ll also find novelty hats, T-shirts, socks with fun prints, and colorful rainboots, which won’t fit IN stockings, but could actually BE the stuffed stocking.
The most hard-to-buy-for on your list could always use pocket lights, gourmet seasonings and rubs, candles, lip balm, hand lotion, or bath bombs.
