Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is unveiling its newly acquired South Erock property on several guided hikes starting in January 2025. Join a park ranger on the moderately challenging, 2-mile trek that showcases the natural beauty of the Comanche Rock Ranch portion of the Texas State Park. See vernal pools, native plants and animals, and rolling oak savannah prairie.

Advance registration is required. Email Hannah Pickens at hannah.pickens@tpwd.texas.gov to reserve your spot on one of the above hikes. More dates could be added in the future. Keep up with Enchanted Rock SNA events online.

The hike is free with park admission of $8 for ages 13 and older. Children 12 and younger get in free.

Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is located at 16710 RR 965 on the Llano-Gillespie county line. The popular park fills up quickly, so purchasing a day pass online in advance is recommended.
