AquaBoom, Kingsland’s annual Fourth of July festival, will be celebrated on a different holiday in 2025. The event was postponed to Labor Day weekend following the devastating floods that swept across the Highland Lakes on July 4-5.

But the fireworks show must go on! The main display is at dark Aug. 30 at the RM 2900 bridge in Kingsland. A second fireworks show is the next night at Wakepoint LBJ, 14757 RR 1431 West.

Most AquaBoom activities take place Aug. 29-31, although a rubber ducky scavenger hunt began Aug. 2 and will run through Aug. 29.
