Unplug, unwind, and relax at NowHere, a secluded 200-acre retreat hidden among the tall trees of Round Mountain at 3486 Old Marble Falls Road.
Opened in April 2023 by husband-and-wife team Kamalu Fernandez and Erika Burnham, the upscale nature getaway seeks to bring peace to its guests by immersing them in the great outdoors.
“We’re really focused on providing an escape to slow down and disconnect in nature,” Burnham said.
The couple named the retreat NowHere to invoke the site’s secluded location.
“We want our guests to be ‘now here’ in the middle of nowhere,” Burnham said.
Each cabin is outfitted with a full bathroom, walk-in rain shower, outdoor deck, king-size bed, heating and air conditioning, mini-fridge, closet, full-length mirror, and hairdryer.
Another popular amenity is the wood-burning hot tubs at each cabin.
“Everything is meant to build on that slow mindset,” Burnham said. “You light your own fire and it takes about an hour to heat up. It’s all about purposefully slowing down.”
One thing missing from NowHere’s offerings is WiFi, but that’s intentional.
“We’ve built our retreat as the ultimate place to re-evaluate your relationship with technology,” Burnham said.
The retreat also offers wedding services for couples looking to tie the knot in tranquility.
