Looking for a fun and festive way to kick off the New Year? The Hill Country Community Theatre invites the community to celebrate on Jan. 10, 2026, with a lively seasonal fundraiser filled with great food, live music, and vintage rock ’n’ roll flair.
Tickets are available at thehcct.org or by calling the HCCT box office at 830-798-8944. Seating is limited, so early reservations are encouraged.
The Hill Country Community Theatre is located at 4003 W. RM 2147 in Cottonwood Shores. Gather your friends, enjoy the music, and celebrate the New Year while supporting the arts in the community.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a warm welcome and catered fare from local favorite Miss Vickie’s Kitchen. Guests can mix and mingle while enjoying drinks, browsing a silent auction, and taking part in a popular wine-and-whiskey pull, setting the tone for an exciting night ahead.
At 7:30 p.m., the spotlight turns to live entertainment as The Vinyl Stripes take the stage. This Texas-based band is known for channeling the spirit of the 1950s and ’60s, blending early Elvis vibes, surf guitar, and classic rock ’n’ roll with their own original songs. Drawing inspiration from legends like Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, and Jerry Lee Lewis, the band even dresses in period-style outfits, delivering a high-energy performance that feels like a step back in time.
More than just a night of fun, the fundraiser supports a meaningful mission. All proceeds benefit HCCT, helping the theatre continue to provide high-quality live performances, arts education, and community programming throughout the Highland Lakes region.
