Stonewall hosts the Peach JAMboree and rodeo every June.

Make a pit stop in Stonewall in June for the Peach JAMboree and rodeo. The 2024 festival is Thursday-Saturday, June 20-22, at the Stonewall Chamber of Commerce grounds, 250 Peach St. in Blanco County.

The Texas Hill Country is a sweet spot for peaches. Roadside vendors crop up every summer to sell produce from the area’s well-rooted orchards.

The JAMboree celebrates the juicy fruit with peach-centered fun, including baking, canning, and pit-spitting contests. The rodeo and live music are treats, too!

This year’s musical lineup includes country headliners The Great Divide on Friday and Josh Abbott Band on Saturday. Both shows and dances are at 10 p.m. following each night’s rodeo action.

The rodeo arena dust starts flying on Thursday night with a free slack performance and music by The Wagon Aces. Ticketed events begin Friday with mutton bustin’ at 6:45 p.m. and Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association action at 8 p.m. Expect bulls, broncs, and barrels. The rodeo continues on Saturday night at the same time. The Peach Queen will be crowned at 7:30 p.m.

Most of the fun is during the day Saturday, including a parade at 10 a.m. followed by roping events, a Peach Patch for kids, contests, tournaments, and a Peach Show.
